Birthday Surprise!

Venue : Mikey's Original New York Pizza @Bangsar

We had a surprise birthday party for both of my high school classmates! We decided to suprise them in Mikey's Original New York Pizza @ Bangsar, Jln Telawi 2, located just opposite Antipodean.

My friend suggested we have this surprise dinner here! I've never heard of Mikey's pizza restaurant before as I seldom travel to Bangsar so I was quite curious how good is it.

As usual , the road to Bangsar was super duper congested omg
Pity me , I took LRT to Bangsar station and was deciding to ride a cab but end up I couldn't stop any taxi at all cos all were occupied :( what more I was sweating like hell. Fortunately, a lady told me to take the bus where it'll stop at Bangsar Village mall too! Thank God!

Initially, I thought the pizza restaurant was a big restaurant indoor end up I was wrong, yep sweat again. :/
I wasn't really amazed by the interior cos it doesn't look spacious so yea first impression gone.. but I can say it really felt like I'm in New York a little?
Because they hang up loads of pictures
related to New York City and using the street names as our pizza ordering number. You'll understand later :)

Now let's talk bout the food, PIZZA!
I thought they would bake them on spot when we order but it was actually already baked and they will only take it to reheat if you wanted that piece. And I can tell you the price is quite pricey for a slice :P

The interior inside, brick walls with loads of frames hanged up.

I sort of love the light bulbs arrangement. Feel so broadway-ish. New York yo! (sorry peepo , took your eating face hehe )

I forgot what's the name of this pizza, basically is pasta with dried tomatoes and some herbs. It costs around Rm 16. I would rate this the last among the three slices I ordered :( The pasta is too dry.

This is Wild Mushrooms ! I'm a mushroom person but still it didn't wow me, rate this second place.

Tadaaa! Special of the Day ! Tony Soprano ! I love this, it has much more taste, and I just couldn't resist those crispy pepperonis ! First place among the three slices! Cost around RM16 ~

A pan full is only 8 slices! So imagine how big is one slice! But for a small eater like me, even one slice cannot fill my tummy haha
Oh and the yellow toppings pizza was super salty to the max, do not order that :/

Overall, I would rate 6/10 ?

I would say it's special for me la since I only had pizzas like in Dominos and Pizza Huts.

Besides pizzas, Mikey also serve chicken nuggets, waffle fries and etc.

And they have good services too, thumbs up for that!

I think I will not return back to Mikey because honestly I think the price is not reasonable for me haha but it still depends on one's preference
