Mooncake Festival
Tuesday, September 9, 20145:46 AM
Yesterday was Mooncake Festival ! Where did you guys went for dinner?
Well, I went to Sky Park @ One city to celebrate with my family and relatives.
I was quite excited about visiting the park as I've only heard of the glass roof above 10 floors !

My aunt has planned to dine for Thai food.
When I reached, of course I was searching for the glass roof. haha
It's actually quite scary though looking down thru the transparent glass..
I heard that they were cracks found somewhere in the glass D: so becareful people.

Okay, so we went to Khrua Thai for dinner.
And the food wasn't that great :(
Oh ya I apologised thay i didn't manage to capture pictures of the food served :P cos my relatives were there so it'll be awkward that I will want to take photos when they are waiting to savour the dishes.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable day with your family! And don't forget to munch on some delicious mooncakes hehe

Break free!
Thursday, September 4, 20147:41 AM
Yayyy my semester break is finally here! Today is the first day of my holiday! *woohoo*

To celebrate, I hang out with my best friend, Belle and my two other former high schoolmates.

I suggested that we'd try out the boat noodles that many people were so hyped up about! Well actually I was the one that was so curious about it la :D when I knew they have this boat noodle in Ikon, Connaught, I was like yeah man, it just near me,I'm gonna eat it!

Boat noodle restaurant opens only at 11am! I reached Ikon around 10.40am and the restaurant was already seated 50% full !! :O but anyway, it was just a small shop so the seats were quite limited.
If you haven't know what's boat noodle, lemme brief you a little :D (based on what I've read on other articles)

Boat noodle is originated from Thailand! It's a Thai delicacies, this boat noodle is a bite-sized noodle with either chicken/beef broth with a tinge of hot chilli and lime flavour garnished with fragrant coriander and spring onions, with a half cut meatball. This small portion of noodle was served to ease people on boat, imagine eating a big bowl of noodles on a boat on the runny water, imbalance, so inconvenient right? That is why they created this tiny snack version of noodle ! The portion of noodles is just a spoonful.

In the menu, there are only 4 choices of noodles. 1) Dry beef noodle 2) Soup beef noodle 3) Dry chicken noodle 4) Soup chicken noodle. One bowl for RM 1.90.

I was in dilemma of whether how many bowls should I order first. End up, I ordered 4 of the choices listed on the menu. I love the beef broth noodle the most over the dry ones! and ofcos over chicken hehe The taste of the beef broth was thicker and more saturated?
4 bowls wasn't enough for me ! At the end I ate 10 bowls of the noodles! :D Is that counted a lot for a girl?? Haha
And and their Thai iced tea was good! It taste like Teh Tarik but it is orange in colour. It costs RM6.90. Almost like a Chatime drink price heh

In my point of view, the noodles were delicious! But as you further topping up
your bowls, you will be feeling a little bored and 'zai' as you're repetitively tasting the same taste. However, I would rate 9/10 ! A deduction is that the drinks were served too slow! :(

It was a fun experience though because you can challenge among your friends who can slurp up most bowls wins! And then maybe the loser could pay an extra bowl for the winner? haha

Will I revisit Boat Noodles?? Initially I said wouldn't because my tummy is not feeling well
after the noodles as I could not take up spicy food but I forgot to try their coconut dessert!!! So I will go back to try the dessert hahaha and I will not eat many bowls anymore :( Stomach's suffering now :'( But to think of it, it's quite costly lah but for the sake of fun, it's okayyyy!

For those in Cheras area who wanna try out this noodle, you can head over to Ikon, Tmn Connaught! It's a new mall nearby UCSI only!

After lunch, we then went for Lucy movie in Mid Valley. I would rate 7/10 for the movie. The thing that I liked about the whole movie is Scarlett Johansson's husky voice :3 Her abilities in the movie are quite cool !

Till then, people!
Goodnight xx
